MIKE MYERS

Mike’s passion is helping individuals and organizations deliver results and shape the future.

Mike applies expertise from his 42 years at Lockheed Martin to create positive behavior change in leaders and their teams to increase sales and reduce costs. He currently works with small and mid-size companies in a broad range of sectors. Using his Diagnose-Design-Implement-Verify approach, he has helped people change their thinking and their behaviors and transform how they approach their work and their lives.  He is an experienced bi-lingual coach specializing in Diagnostics, Strategy, Leadership Development, Time Strategies, Customer Loyalty, and Emotional Intelligence.

Competing his Lockheed Martin career as the Director of Technology Development and Integration, he led over 700 Skunk Works® engineers in technology and product R&D assignments at three sites with the help of a team of 26 managers. His portfolio encompassed over $250M of company and customer-funded R&D projects with annual contract orders of $80 to $100 million. As the functional lead of Skunk Works® engineers, he developed and co-developed agile staffing practices for assigning people in the most productive manner while minimizing headcount volatility.

Prior assignments included structural engineering and systems engineering on multiple DoD aircraft programs. His experience spans loads and flutter analysis; weights, configuration, and requirements management, risk assessment and control, and  AS9100 certification.

Mike works with the Santa Clarita Boys and Girls Club and the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center. He provides volunteer and financial support to local nonprofits such as Bridge to Home, The Gentle Barn, and the American Diabetes Association.

He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He completed the Defense Acquisition University’s Program Manager’s course, and Lockheed Martin Senior Leadership Development courses.
